The prestigious Audi circuit reaches Madonna di Campiglio from February 5th to 8th: over 350 “athletes for a day” will challenge themselves on the Cinque Laghi slope
After Obergurgl and Verbier, prestigious Audi quattro Ski Cup circuit finally lands in Italy for the first time, and it does in Madonna di Campiglio, the home of 3Tre, the Audi FIS Ski Alpine Ski World Cup classic slalom that gathered over 16.000 people on the Canalone Miramonti slope on last December 22nd.
The 3Tre Committee is in charge of organizing, from February 5th to 8th, the special event that will bring over 350 “athletes for a day” to challenge each other and themselves on Madonna di Campiglio’s snow: they will tackle a giant slalom on the Cinque Laghi slope, launching themselves from the official World Cup starting house and ending their effort beneath the iconic, Audi-branded red banner.
A real World-Cup style experience through four days, each dedicated to a specific category. The programme starts on Friday February 5th, with the race of Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo Ski School customers, competing both as individuals and in teams, in the attempt of bringing their school on top. On Saturday February 6th, over 100 Audi guests will breeze through the giant slalom gates, while on Sunday February 7th it will be time for the “open” race for the public, whose 150 available bibs are nearly over. On Monday February 8th, closing the programme will be the race dedicated to the clients of Madonna di Campiglio and Val Rendena’s hotels (also competing in teams), exceptionally open also to those who should not be able to enter Sunday’s race (registration needed through email: firstname.lastname@example.org).
All the participants will receive a well-stocked race pack, and will live the emotion of the awarding ceremonies, happening every day at the Audi Hub in Piazza Brenta Alta, where all the Audi quattro Ski Cup racers will be welcomed with a glass of Ferrari sparkling wine.
At the Audi Hub i twill also be possible to test some exclusive “Audi Experiences”: from the interactive 3D Oculus glasses to the AudiOn App to follow every moment of the FIS World Cup, from the Car Configurator to the Test Drive at Madonna di Campiglio’s iced lake.
In addition to Audi, main sponsor of the FIS World Cup as well as an important strategic partner of the Madonna di Campiglio – Pinzolo - Val Rendena touristic area, Audi quattro Ski Cup is supported by other premium sponsors such as Rossignol and GoPro (Main Sponsors), Ferrari, Technogym and Forst.
After Madonna di Campiglio’s stage, the Audi quattro Ski Cup circuit will come to its conclusion with two more prestigious locations: Oberstdorf e St. Moritz.
