For the third year in a row the promotional tour stops in Rome to announce the FIS World Cup Night Slalom in Madonna di Campiglio on thursday: special guests the #1 of the Italian sports, Italian Winter Sports Federation’s President Flavio Roda and Giorgio Rocca
3Tre and Rome have a close friendship. The Eternal City opens its doors to the FIS World Cup Night Slalom, the great winter event taking place in Madonna di Campiglio, scheduled on Saturday, December 22 on the Canalone Miramonti slope (first run 3.45PM CET, second run 6.45PM CET).
Two events in a day on Thursday, October 25: at 12AM CET there is the first appointment with the freshmen of Medicine and Surgery at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and later the evening presentation takes place at Circolo Canottieri Aniene at 7PM CET.
A long list of stars enlightens this prestigious event: the President of 3Tre Committee Lorenzo Conci, the Director of Funivie Campiglio Francesco Bosco and the special guests are the Italian National Olympic Committee President Giovanni Malagò, the Italian Winter Sports Federation President Flavio Roda and the former champion Giorgio Rocca (the last Italian winner in Madonna at 2005 3Tre), and the President of Circolo Canottieri Aniene, Massimo Fabbricini.
On this occasion, exclusive videos and photos by the historian Paolo Luconi Bisti will tell past and present of the 3Tre race. The guests will experience a journey through the most important moments of the competition, becoming even more exciting thanks to the presence of the “Crystal Globe”, the award given to the FIS World Cup winner, which is travelling with the 3Tre on Tour.
Authorities, institutions and the world of sport are the protagonists of this important appointment, when also the new Ski Session of Circolo Canottiere Aniene will be announced. The idea originated from the members Andrea Caloro, Alessandro Gucci and Francesco Follina to spread the platform of excellence into the sport schools so that amateur and competitive skiers from Rome and its surroundings could join some weekends in the Lazio and Abruzzo mountains with federation instructors.
