On Tuesday, December 17th in Trento's Cinema Astra the collaboration between Madonna di Campiglio's night slalom and the Marcialonga will be renewed. "Scivolando sulla Neve" is a new chapter of the synergy between two Trentino’s major winter sports events
On the road to the night slalom, 3Tre blends culture and memories. For the fifth year, the 3Tre committee will take part in the talk-show "SciVolando" in preparation for the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Night Slalom to be held in Madonna di Campiglio (Trentino, Northern Italy), on Wednesday, January 8th (first run: 5.45 pm CET, second run: 8.45 pm CET).
Trento will host "SciVolando sulla Neve": the event scheduled at Cinema Astra on Tuesday, December 17th (start at 6.30 pm CET) represents a new chapter of the synergy between the two major winter sports events in Trentino: 3Tre (alpine ski) and Marcialonga (cross-country ski).
Promoted in collaboration with 3Tre and Marcialonga OC, the event will see the participation of 3Tre President Lorenzo Conci, Marcialonga President Angelo Corradini, Italian Winter Sports Federation Trentino Committee's President Tiziano Mellarini and writer and Corriere della Sera journalist Franco Brevini, author of the book "Libro sulla Neve" published by "Il Mulino".
"SciVolando sulla Neve" will pay tribute to Trento, a city that contributed to the promotion and celebration of ski events. In fact, during the late '40s in Trento the 3Tre project came to light, whilst the first Marcialonga edition records back to 1971.
"Trento is the city of great memories for the 3Tre" – said President Lorenzo Conci. – "The project of a big alpine ski event in Trentino was born in Trento. To celebrate together with the Marcialonga friends is a pleasure for us: our events are recognized worldwide, proud representatives of the "Made in Trentino" in winter sports events".
SciVolando's fifth edition will be preceded by the 3Tre on Tour appointment in Valle di Ledro, to be held in Lenzumo di Concei's Chalet Rifugio Al Faggio (Trentino) on Monday, December 16th at 7.00 pm CET, with the presence of the "crystal globe", the trophy of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup.
On Wednesday, January 8th, 3Tre schedules the first run at 5.45 pm CET and the second run at 8.45 pm CET, featuring the "3Tre Hour" between the two runs at Sissi Square. What's more - a lot of fun and music will be the protagonists of the "3Tre Party Night" after the races. Not to be missed is the amazing eve's Public Draw on Tuesday, January 7th (7.00 pm CET) at Sissi Square. Online tickets for the Night Slalom are available online on the event's website.
