The ritual control by the International Federation was positive. Slope Director Alimonta: “The recent snowfalls required an extraeffort from our side, but we feel optimist for December 22nd
There are eight days left, but 3Tre can already be perceived in Madonna di Campiglio. The preparation for the event of December 22nd are relentless, and the excitement for the 2017 edition of the Night Slalom can be clearly perceived.
On Thursday December 14th, the International Ski Federation (FIS) communicated the positive outcome of the official snow control, the ritual recognition on the racing slope conducted just a few days before the event. Therefore, the programme of December 22nd is confirmed: the spotlights will turn on the Canalone Miramonti for the two runs of 17.45 and 20.45.
Abundant snowfalls have arrived on the Dolomiti di Brenta in the last few days, adding to the Christmas atmosphere in the heart of the Pearl of the Dolomites: great news for the plenty of skiers expected in the location in the coming weeks.
“In a destination like ours, snow is always very welcome, even if requires some extra effort from our side,” said with a smile Adriano Alimonta, President of Madonna di Campiglio Pinzolo Val Rendena Tourism Board and 3Tre slope director. “Right now, we are working to move the new snow and preserve the slope base we had been setting up previously. There are still some finishing touches to do, but we feel very confident for December 22nd.”
