Madonna di Campiglio and the Skiarea Campiglio-Dolomiti di Brenta are getting into an exciting week. After visiting Moscow, the 3Tre Committee, the Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo-Val Rendena Tourist Board and the “crystal globe” – the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup trophy – are ready to get back in Rome for the classic 3Tre on Tour appointment on Thursday November 14th.
The famous “Due Ponti Sporting Club” will welcome the promotional tour of the 66th 3Tre, scheduled on Wednesday January 8th, 2020 (first run: 17.45, second run: 20.45). With its history and anecdotes, the Madonna di Campiglio classic will be the guest of the prestigious Roman club at 7 pm CET, together with the Italian Olympic Committee Vice President (and former Olympic Champion) Alessandra Sensini, the former fencer Margherita Granbassi and one of the most representative 3Tre champions, Giorgio Rocca, the last Italian winner on the Canalone Miramonti slope, in the 2005 edition.
3Tre’s President Lorenzo Conci, Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo-Val Rendena Tourist Board’s President Tullio Serafini and Monica Bonomini in representation of the Municipality of Pinzolo will be attending the event anchored by the RaiSport journalist Simona Rolandi.
Additionally, Sabino Fortunato, chef of the Michelin 1-star restaurant “Il Gallo Cedrone”, will offer an authentic taste of Madonna top-class cuisine in Rome, preparing a delightful Gourmet refreshment. The Michelin Guide has lately confirmed the star to three Madonna di Campiglio restaurants, out of seven in the Trentino area.
The Due Ponti Sporting Club is a prestigious location frequented by former sports champions like Andrea Lo Cicero, Stefano Fiore and Bernardo Corradi, as well as Italian TV celebrities as Manuela Arcuri, Milena Miconi, Samantha De Grenet and Fiorello.
Furthermore, on Saturday November 16th the ski season kicks off in Madonna di Campiglio. Snowfalls are still delivering a remarkable quantity of powder, still increasing both in the city center and the ski slopes.
Funivie Campiglio unveiled the program for the early part of the winter season: the Grosté zone will open on November 16-17 and November 23-24, whilst all the Madonna di Campiglio ski slopes will open from Saturday November 30th. Finally, from Thursday December 5th the ski areas of Folgarida-Marilleva and Pinzolo will welcome the first skiers
