3Tre and Giro d'Italia dance together under the stars of Milan

On Tuesday, December 3rd Madonna di Campiglio hits the stage hits the stage in Milan's Palazzo delle Stelline on a night that combines ski and cycling, with guest stars Giorgio Rocca and Francesco Moser, as well as the trophies of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup and the Giro d'Italia

 

2020 will be a memorable year for Madonna di Campiglio. The Pearl of Dolomites is ready to host two editions of the 3Tre – the 66th scheduled on Wednesday January 8th (first run: 5.45 pm CET, second run: 8.45 pm CET), followed by the 67th to be held on the classic date: December 22nd – and the 2020 Giro d'Italia with the finish of stage 17 in Piazza Sissi on May 27th, followed by the start of the stage 18 in Pinzolo, on May 28th.

A big season that the 3Tre Committee and the Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo-Val Rendena Tourist Board  celebrate in Milan on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, on the occasion of the traditional 3Tre on Tour stage. The prestigious "Palazzo delle Stelline" will host the promotional tour (starts at 7.00 pm CET) of the Italian night slalom of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. 


In Milan, the Madonna classic will meet top-class cycling: Cairo Communication's CEO Uberto Fornara and La Gazzetta dello Sport's Vice President Gianni Valenti will attend the 3Tre night. Furthermore, some special guests from the sports World will take part in the event, starting with three 3Tre winners, Giorgio Rocca, Ivano Edalini and Piero Gros, and the cycling star Francesco Moser.

During the event anchored by journalist Cristina Fantoni, under the spotlight there will be the two trophies listed into ski and cycling history: the "Crystal Globe", the trophy of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup, and the "Never Ending Trophy" the trophy for the Giro d'Italia overall winner.

3Tre's President Lorenzo Conci, Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo-Val Rendena Tourist Board's President Tullio Serafini and the Director Matteo Bonapace will represent the 3Tre Committee and the local tourist board, whilst Tre's historiographer Paolo Luconi Bisti will narrate the glorious history of the Madonna di Campiglio classic.

As usually on the occasion of the 3Tre on Tour stages, the land will emerge in all its beauty: Madonna di Campiglio, popular winter location, entitles also many tourist attractions for the summer, when the Val Rendena jewel will host the Giro d'Italia, the Top Dolomites Granfondo and several MTB competitions.
