A new and ambitious edition of 3Tre is at the starting gate: starting from Tuscany on September 8th, the tour travels through Italy over nearly 20 stages, even reaching Sicily, with the traditional stop in Munich, Germany. Conci: “A successful idea, that brings 3Tre and alpine skiing closer to the people”
From Rome to Milan, through Bologna and all the way down to Palermo. And of course the traditional journey through the beautiful Trentino, and the stop in Germany, at the Audi Dome in Munich, the FC Bayern Basketball arena. 3Tre on Tour, the promotional tour of the 65th edition of the Madonna di Campiglio’s ski classic is ready to start. It will be an enticing travel of three and a half months, a long countdown to December 22nd through nearly 20 fixtures in Italy and beyond. A series of events to present the alpine skiing’s history and culture, promote sports and involve special guests, and capable of involving long-time enthusiasts as well as skiing newbies getting their first taste of the White Circus’ charm.
Now in its fourth edition, 3Tre on Tour is now an established format, but still evolving thanks to the commitment of Loredana Bonazza, Communication Manager of 3Tre Committee, and the support provided by the locations and the enthusiast organizers that make every stage unique.
As in previous years, 3Tre is due to land in many new places, including some rarely attended by winter sports events. The first stop will be on Saturday, September 8th, in Forte dei Marmi, by the sea, where the traditional “Premio Vitalini” will dedicate a special moment to 3Tre.
After Forte dei Marmi, the promotional tour will make stages in Trento during the “Festival dello Sport” (October 11-14), before heading to South of Italy in Palermo (October 20th) and Paestum (October 23rd) – both visited for the first time – and Rome (24-25 October). Among the confirmed locations, 3Tre on Tour will visit Bologna, Munich and Milan before ending on December, 18th in Val Rendena - few kilometers far from Madonna di Campiglio where the enthusiasm will arouse for its main winter event.
“We are going to live an intense period, and looking forward to it - said Lorenzo Conci, President of the 3Tre Committee. – We are very happy for the opportunity to further broaden our borders and thus reach this year Palermo and Paestum, where I believe some very special moments will happen. 3Tre on Tour is a successful format, certainly fulfilling to its scope: this is the right way to take 3Tre and alpine skiing closer to the fans, coming down from the mountains to visit them at their home. That’s part of the reason why we were able to welcome over 17.000 fans on the Canalone Miramonti in the last edition."
The night slalom of Audi FIS Ski World Cup valid for the 65th edition of 3Tre will take place on Saturday, 22nd December on the traditional Canalone Miramonti slope. On the occasion, the program of the two runs has been slightly anticipated due to the conjunction with the Italian Serie A games: the first run will be raced at 3.45 PM, followed by the decisive one at 6.45 PM.
