The President of the Italian National Olympic Committee Giovanni Malagò also joined the presentation in the prestigious Roman location “Circolo Aniene” to promote the Audi FIS World Cup Night Slalom. In the morning, 3Tre has been presented at Gemelli General Hospital
3Tre enchants Rome by bringing its 70-years long historical legacy and appeals to an increasingly wide audience in view of the 65th edition of the Audi FIS World Cup Night Slalom, scheduled on Saturday, December 22 on Canalone Miramonti slope in Madonna di Campiglio.
For the third year in a row, 3Tre on Tour - the event's promotional tour - has stopped in this unmissable location: Rome. On Thursday, October 25 3Tre presented this year’s edition in one of the most prestigious Roman sport locations “Circolo Canottieri Aniene” which also grasped the opportunity to announce its Ski Section, presented by Andrea Caloro. This is an important moment to share the culture of ski in Rome, just during the week of the Roman athlete Elena Sandulli’s debut in FIS World Cup's opener in Soelden.
The President of the Italian National Olympic Committee Giovanni Malagò has proudly opened the presentation also attended by the President of the Italian Winter Sports Federation Flavio Roda and the President of FISI Trentino Tiziano Mellarini, the Secretary General of the Italian National Olympic Committee Carlo Mornati and the last 3Tre Italian winner, in 2005, Giorgio Rocca.
“It is thought that skiing is not for big cities, but big cities are where lot of fans live. This highlights the importance of your commitment in promoting 3Tre, also far from the mountains”, the President of the Italian Winter Sports Federation Flavio Roda said.
As in the previous locations visited by 3Tre on Tour, Paolo Luconi Bisti has shown the race history through photos and videos. Moreover, the Cristal Globe - the award which goes to the World Cup Winner - has followed the promotional tour also in the Italian Capital.
Eventually, Francesco Bosco for Funivie Campiglio and Francesca Maffei for the Tourist Office told to the crowded audience the beauty and the details of Madonna di Campiglio and its surroundings.
In the morning, a group of representatives lead by the President of 3Tre Committee Lorenzo Conci and Giorgio Rocca visited the freshmen attending Medicine and Surgery Degree at Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University, in Gemelli General Hospital. “We told the Medicine freshmen how important it is to practise sport in order to avoid alcohol abuse among young people - this is something that upsets us as sport people and parents” Giorgio Rocca explained.
AFTER ROME, 3TRE GOES TO MILAN ON SATURDAY
On Saturday, October 27 3Tre on Tour stops at Milano Montagna Festival, the international event promoting mountains and outdoor sports culture.
