On September 8th in Forte dei Marmi (Lucca, Italy) the first stage of the promotional tour. 3Tre brings to Tuscany also the FIS World Cup “Crystal Globe” trophy
The 3Tre on Tour is at the starting gate. On Saturday September 8 in Forte dei Marmi (Lucca, Italy), the now-traditional promotional tour of the 3Tre Committee around Italy (and beyond) will finally get underway. Also in 2018, the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Night Slalom will live a long and intense rundown to Saturday December 22nd, when the slalom champions will light up the evening on the Canalone Miramonti slope (1st run 15.45, 2nd run 18.45).
Hosting the first 3Tre on Tour fixture will be a very prestigious location and event: on Saturday September 8th at 5.00 PM, the third edition of the “Premio Vitalini” will be staged in the beautiful Villa Bertelli in Forte dei Marmi.
A traditional preview of the winter season by the Versilian sea, the Premio Vitalini, an initiative by Vitalini Sports Wear, is dedicated to the sports, journalism, tourism and business personalities that gave their contribution to the promotion of Winter sports.
During the event, anchored by journalist Marco Di Marco, 3Tre will be represented by President Lorenzo Conci, who will discuss the main themes and contents of the upcoming edition, before an entertaining “throwback” moment in the history of the Italian ski classic, curated by Paolo Luconi Bisti. A long and charming history that features Zeno Colò among its standout personality: Colò won the 3Tre downhill and slalom in the first edition, back in 1950, when the “three races in Trentino” were still itinerating, before reaching their permanent base in Madonna di Campiglio in 1957. A special “in memoriam” award will be given to Zeno Colò’s nephew during the Forte dei Marmi night.
Starring at the Premio Vitalini will be also the Italian DH team from the 90s, known as the “ItalJet”: Kristian Ghedina, Peter Runggaldier, Alessandro Fattori, Werner Perathoner, Luca Cattaneo and, of course, Pietro Vitalini. Finally, journalists Gianmario Bonzi and Dario Ricci will present their book “Oro Bianco”, telling some of the most remarkable stories of Winter Olympic triumphs.
Joining 3Tre in Forte dei Marmi and all along the 3Tre on Tour will be a prestigious travel companion: the “Crystal Globe”, the winners’ trophy of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup. “Again in 2018, we will be proud to talk about our event and reality in prestigious location, in Italy and beyond - told Loredana Bonazza, 3Tre Committee’s communication manager and promoter of the 3Tre on Tour - and to take with us the symbol of the FIS World Cup, that is always a major attraction for the ski fans we meet in the various stages. We are grateful to Premio Vitalini for their invitation, and the prestigious opportunity to open our tour with in such an important contezt. We have an intense period ahead of us, but we are looking forward to it.”
