Elegance and style. Power, technique, control. Ski and golf do have quite of common traits, no coincidence that skiers often spend the spring on the golf greens, after facing the most demanding slopes in the World.
The connection between ski and golf will be celebrated in Parma (Central Italy), on the occasion of the first stage of the 3Tre on Tour, the promotional tour of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Night Slalom to be held in Madonna di Campiglio (Trentino, Northern Italy), on Wednesday January 8th (first run: 5.45 pm CET, second run: 8.45 pm).
On Wednesday September 11th, in the “Golf del Ducato” Golf Club in Sala Baganza (in Parma’s nearby) the first edition of the 3Tre Golf Cup will take place, starting at 12 PM CET, a “ShotGun” competition followed by a 3Tre presentation, to be held at 7 pm CET.
Attending the event, among others, will be Madonna di Campiglio Tourist Board President Tullio Serafini, 3Tre President Lorenzo Conci, and Giorgio Rocca, the last Italian winner in Madonna di Campiglio.
In Parma starts the countdown towards the 66th edition of the Italian classic. This time, Marcel Hirscher will not catalyse the interest of the ski lovers: in fact, the Austrian champion has just announced his retirement from ski. Nevertheless, a great show is expected in Madonna, with the top slalom specialists looking to earn the first FIS World Cup honors after the Hirscher era.
“We’re approaching an intense and very rewarding period – told Loredana Bonazza, 3Tre Committee’s communication manager and promoter of the 3Tre on Tour. – We proud to talk about our event in prestigious location in Italy and beyond. This year, 3Tre on Tour starts by Parma, a city our tour had already visited in the past. It is going to be a special event, celebrating the connection between ski and golf. In the next weeks, we will reveal the complete schedule of the 3Tre on Tour calendar, including several suprising and prestigious stages. We are looking forward to start”.
