On Wednesday November 8th, Madonna di Campiglio’s ski classic will be in in Germany for a promotional event at the Audi Dome during the game between Bayern Basketball and Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia
After Rome, Munich: the 3Tre on Tour moves across the national borders in its scope of promoting the 64th edition of the Madonna di Campiglio’s event, the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup night slalom taking place on Friday December 22nd on the legendary Canalone Miramonti slope. On Wednesday November 8th, 3Tre will be in Germany for a public occasion organized by the Madonna di Campiglio Pinzolo Val Rendena Tourism Board, in cooperation with Bayern München Basketball, Trentino Marketing and Garda Trentino SpA.
The Arena of the Bavarian club, coached by Aleksandr “Sasa” Djordjevic, will host this stage of the 3Tre on Tour, within the 2-year partnership sealed by Bayern München Basketball, Trentino and Madonna di Campiglio.
The occasion will be provided by the EuroCup game between Bayern München Basketball and Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia: in the 2nd half, during the break between third and fourth quarter, the Audi Dome spectators will be entertained by a special game “inspired” to the ski slalom. In addition, some lucky fans will have the chance to win a holiday weekend in Madonna di Campiglio.
A long-time connection exists between Madonna di Campiglio and Munich, particularly in sports. Indeed, Munich gave birth to no less than two 3Tre winners: the Olympic Champion in Calgary 1988, Marina Kiehl was successful in Campiglio in 1984, whilst Felix Neureuther was proclaimed king of the 3Tre three seasons ago, winning ahead of fellow German Fritz Dopfer.
Meantime, on Thursday November 2nd, the 3Tre on Tour stopped in Valle di Ledro, Trentino, for an event at the the Chalet “Al Faggio”, with the participation of 3Tre President Lorenzo Conci, Ledro’s Mayor Renato Girardi, the President of Valle di Ledro consortium, Maria Demadonna, the President of Trentino’s Italian National Olympic Committee, Paola Mora, Mario Tonina of Trento’s Provincial Council, and Michele Segalla, assessor for the environment of the Valle Alto Garda e Ledro district. The audience also showed great enthusiasm for the presence of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup trophy, a regular “guest” of the 3Tre on Tour.
