The tickets for the Madonna di Campiglio World Cup night slalom of Friday December 22nd are now available. Last year, over 15.000 people collected on the Canalone Miramonti slope. The event will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Alberto Tomba’s first win
With 20 days to go to the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup traditional opener, the Giant Slalom in Soelden (Austria), the White Circus atmosphere can be breathed also in Madonna di Campiglio, where on Friday December 22nd the 64th 3Tre will be staged with the traditional World Cup Night Slalom, one of the most anticipated rounds of the whole circuit.
As usual, a special event will take place in the Pearl of Dolomites, with the greatest stars at the start, including two-time defending champion Henrik Kristoffersen and 5-time World Cup king Marcel Hirscher. In addition, the 64th 3Tre will celebrate yet another important anniversary: the 30 years of Alberto Tomba’s triumph on the legendary Canalone Miramonti.
It is already possible for ski fans to secure their spots by the Canalone Miramonti slope from Monday October 9th. The online ticket pre-sales are open (CLICK HERE): the Area Nord (on the right side of the slope) and Area Sud (on the left side) will come at 17 euro, whilst the Tribuna 3Tre of 1000 seats will be available at 32 euro. Last year over 15000 fans surrounded the Canalone Miramonti and this year the several ticket requests received in the 3Tre HQ are evidence of the great enthusiasm for the 64th edition of the Classic night slalom.
“The 3Tre’s organization has been underway for some time already, but when we open the ticket sales it’s when you realize the event is coming for real – 3Tre Committee President Lorenzo Conci said. – After the celebration for the 50 years of the World Cup and the 40 years of the Valanga Azzurra hat-trick in Campiglio, this time we will remember the first Alberto Tomba win here: with December 22nd coming on Friday, we hope many of the people who were obstacle by the mid-week fixture in recent years to finally seize the opportunity, and experience in first person the unique atmosphere of the Canalone Miramonti”.
