9–22 December 1982, Madonna di Campiglio (World Cup)
The 3Tre returns to a two-race programme in December 1982. The slalom is once again won by a Swede — but this time his name is not Ingemar, but Stig. Stig Strand takes victory ahead of Stenmark himself, with Phil Mahre completing the podium.
The Super-G makes its debut at the 3Tre and is dominated by Italy’s Michael Mair, who triumphs ahead of Austria’s Hans Enn and Switzerland’s Pirmin Zurbriggen.
