17 December 1991, Madonna di Campiglio (World Cup)
Norway once again rules in Madonna di Campiglio, this time thanks to Finn Christian Jagge — who would go on to win Olympic slalom gold at Albertville 1992. The Norwegian triumphs ahead of Alberto Tomba and Sweden’s Thomas Fogdö.
Jagge’s connection with Madonna di Campiglio is a special one: on the Miramonti he claims both the first and the last World Cup victories of his career, in 1991 and 1999 respectively.
