The 3Tre remains in Swiss hands for its 66th edition. The night slalom in Madonna di Campiglio crowns Daniel Yule for the second consecutive time — a feat previously achieved only by great champions such as Ingemar Stenmark, Alberto Tomba and Henrik Kristoffersen.
After dominating the first run, Yule holds on to claim another victory under the lights, finishing 0.15 seconds ahead of Norway’s Henrik Kristoffersen and 0.25 ahead of France’s Clément Noël.
It is a mixed night for the Italian team. Manfred Mölgg finishes ninth, while young Alex Vinatzer shows plenty of promise on his way to 13th place. Simon Maurberger finishes 16th.
