3Tre Madonna di Campiglio returns to London: a night of heritage, friendship and world-class skiing

The legendary 3Tre Night Slalom — the iconic Italian classic of the Men’s FIS Alpine Ski World Cup calendar — will once again shine a spotlight on its international roots as it lands in London for the second straight year, on Thursday, November 13th, for a special opening event of its 3Tre on Tour before moving on to Milan, Oslo, Bologna and Trento.

The 72nd edition of the race itself is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, on Madonna di Campiglio’s Canalone Miramonti, with the two runs starting at 18:00 and 21:00 CET.

The London gathering will take place at the Oriental Club, a few steps from Bond Street, in one of the capital’s most distinguished venues. Representing 3Tre will be President Lorenzo Conci and the Marketing Area coordinator Andrea Busignani. The evening will feature 3Tre Ambassador Giorgio Rocca, the last Italian to win on the Canalone Miramonti — exactly twenty years ago — and Dave Ryding, Britain’s most successful alpine skier and a podium finisher in Madonna di Campiglio in 2023.

Hosting the event will be William Lunn, President of the historic Kandahar Ski Club, alongside representatives of GB Snowsport, including Vicky Gosling, Ed Drake, Billy Major and Laurie Taylor.

The connection between Madonna di Campiglio and British skiing dates back nearly a century. Founded in Mürren in 1924, the Kandahar Ski Club helped shape the modern format of alpine racing. Inspired by that same spirit, the founders of 3Tre created in 1950 the “Three Races of Trentino” — combining downhill, slalom and giant slalom into a single event that would become a symbol of tradition and excellence.

Since then, the friendship between Campiglio and the Kandahar has stood as a bridge between two cultures united by passion, precision and a deep love for the mountains.

Recent years have only strengthened this bond: Ryding’s memorable podium in 2023 and the three victories of Kandahar member Daniel Yule on the Canalone Miramonti have reaffirmed this shared legacy.

The London event will bring guests into the heart of the 3Tre legend — through stories, images and videos that capture the emotion of the Night Slalom and its place among the world’s most prestigious alpine races. Athletes and guests will reflect on how the event continues to evolve while preserving the atmosphere that makes the Canalone Miramonti a theatre of pure skiing magic.

“3Tre on Tour is not just a promotional event,” says Lorenzo Conci, President of 3Tre. “It’s a way of celebrating our shared roots and passion for skiing. London — and the Kandahar Ski Club — have this sport in their DNA. Bringing 3Tre back here means reconnecting with that heritage and looking to the future together.”
