3Tre on Tour shifts gear at Bologna’s Ducati Auditorium

With its 156 kilometres of ski slopes – the largest ski area in the TrentinoMadonna di Campiglio has long been synonymous with alpine excellence. Yet motorsport has always been part of the resort’s DNA as well. In recent years, the Team Ducati Lenovo launches held in Madonna di Campiglio have drawn global attention, with nine-time MotoGP World Champion Marc Márquez and three-time World Champion Pecco Bagnaia igniting the passion of fans who flock to the Dolomites each winter.

This intersection of skiing and motorsport will set the tone for the fourth stage of the 3Tre on Tour, scheduled for Thursday, December 4th, at the Ducati Auditorium in Borgo Panigale. After bringing the heritage and allure of the iconic World Cup Night Race — whose 72nd edition takes place on January 7th, 2026 (first run at 18:00 CET, second at 21:00 CET) — to London, Milan and Oslo, the promotional tour now returns to the city that gave birth to Alberto Tomba. The legendary Italian champion claimed three victories on the Canalone Miramonti, the last exactly 30 years ago, in December 1995.

The Bologna event, organised by the 3Tre Committee in collaboration with the Madonna di Campiglio Tourism Board, will be attended by 3Tre President Lorenzo Conci; Tourism Board President Tullio Serafini; Director Matteo Bonapace; Ducati Corse CEO Claudio Domenicali; Funivie Campiglio Director Bruno Felicetti; 3Tre Ambassador Giorgio Rocca — the last Italian to win the Madonna di Campiglio World Cup slalom, exactly 20 years ago — and Ducati Corse rider Michele Pirro.

The bond between 3Tre, Madonna di Campiglio, Bologna and the world of motorsport is an integral part of our history and identity,” said Lorenzo Conci, President of the 3Tre Committee. “Returning to Bologna, at the heart of the Motor Valley and in the auditorium of such an iconic brand as Ducati, means celebrating a heritage built on passion, tradition and great champions.”

Beyond a shared premium positioning rooted in excellence and innovation, Madonna di Campiglio and Ducati also enjoy a long-standing friendship and joint membership in the Altagamma Foundation, which brings together Italy’s leading cultural and creative industries and promotes the best of Made in Italy worldwide.

With the same focus on quality and guest experience, Madonna di Campiglio is introducing this winter “Il Numero Ideale”, a system that limits the maximum number of daily ski passes available, particularly on peak-demand days.

From December 28th to January 5th and from February 14th to 22nd, early-morning openings will return with “Scia Prima”, while “Pista Ribattuta” will provide midday grooming to guarantee perfectly prepared conditions each afternoon on the Vagliana slope in the Grosté area.
