In the Winter Olympics season, the chairman of Italian sports joined the presentation of the FIS World Cup Night Slalom of December 22nd in Madonna di Campiglio

Italian Olympic Committee President Malagò welcomed 3Tre in Rome

As the return of the fans on the Canalone Miramonti approaches, towards the 68th 3Tre of Wednesday, December 22nd in Madonna di Campiglio (1st run: 17.45, 2nd run: 20.45), the Italian alpine ski classic charmed Rome with its unique heritage.

The day after the online ticket sales opening, on Friday, November 26th, the 3Tre Committee presented its 2021 edition at the very home of Italian sports, the headquarters of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI).

Italian Olympic Committee President Giovanni Malagò personally welcomed the 3Tre Committee for the first stage of the 2021 3Tre on Tour, the promotional tour of the Italian ski classic, in a very significant season that will lead to the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China, in February 2022. 

“3Tre promotes its event in the best possible way, enhancing the connection between sports and tourism”, said Malagò. –Trentino is a benchmark for sports events’ organization in Italy. Madonna di Campiglio’s Night Slalom will be a crucial and emotional fixture for the Italian slalom squad: getting back to winning ways even in Madonna could be the final gem of an unforgettable year for Italian sports”.

In Roma, the 3Tre Committee also discussed its roadmap and strategic choices for the World Cup Night Slalom. Just over 3000 tickets are available for the comeback of the 3Tre fans in Madonna. Tickets are for sale online only. “The desire to bring the people back to the Canalone Miramonti is great, but we must act cautiously. Our staff is totally committed to organizing another successful edition. For us it’s a honor to promote our event in the home of Italian sports”, explained 3Tre President Lorenzo Conci. 

The 3Tre on Tour strategy and vision is shared with the Madonna di Campiglio Tourism Board, represented in Rome by President Tullio Serafini. “The ski season has started in the best possible way, with very good premises despite the pandemic issues”, said Serafini, along with Pinzolo’s councillor Monica Bonomini. – “3Tre is the symbol of Madonna di Campiglio, of our tourism offer and quality as well as our capacity to deliver top services and safety.”

Former champions Piero Gros and Claudia Giordani took part in Rome’s presentation, in addition to Paolo Luconi Bisti , who led the audience through the 3Tre history with photos and videos. 

After Rome, 3Tre travels to Milan on Wednesday, December 1st for a new fixture of its promotional tour at GUD Bocconi.  

ONLINE TICKETS SALES OPEN FOR MADONNA’S NIGHT SLALOM

In the meantime, the online tickets sales have started in swing, confirming the people’s enthusiasm for the reopening of the Canalone Miramonti slope to the fans.

In compliance with the social distancing and safety provisions, just over 3000 tickets are available for the night slalom. Tickets are for sale online only. Based on the most recent Italian legislation, a COVID pass from vaccination or healing from COVID-19 within the last 6 months is needed to access the Canalone Miramonti, except for children under 12 years of age.

Access is free for kids Under 10 accompanied by an adult, except for the VIP areas.
